Passive sensor technology allows data collection/detection at the moment of the query. This allows a data collection at a defined time. This is controlled by the system (server), which thus activates to the reader. This reads the data at the desired moment and redirects it to the server/database.

This technology allows a "real time" measurement and provides timely information about the state of the measured object/device. Due to the batteryless operation no consequential costs or failures due to lack of energy are possible.
